Bode Omar

Bode Omar is a filmmaker completing his degree at LaGuardia Community College and preparing to transfer to Brooklyn College. He has gained hands-on experience across editing, photography, and production through internships, including his current role with Stoop Stories. He has also contributed as both a cinematographer and editor on numerous short films, developing his skills in visual storytelling and post-production.

Now focused on narrative and documentary work, he is particularly committed to creating stories that connect communities, illuminate local life, and help others feel seen and heard — a mission aligned with Stoop Stories’ focus on celebrating neighborhood voices and shared experiences.
