About the Event

En Garde Arts, Stoop Stories, and Docbloc present:

Fall of Freedom:

Home. Hope. Here. A neighborhood procession.

We invite our community members to gather with us on Saturday, November 22 at 11:00 AM 109 Bergen Street, and journey together along three blocks of Bergen Street in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. This is a walk. A procession. A protest in the artistic sense. We move not in opposition, but in affirmation of each other, of this street, of our neighbors.

The stoop is our stage, and the street is where we stand together.

POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER

REGISTER HERE (FREE)

By standing shoulder to shoulder we insist that freedom does not fall quietly. We will walk stoop to stoop, witnessing some of New York’s bold and brilliant voices. We end together at Someday Bar continuing not as audience and performers, but as neighbors building the roads between us.

Come as you are. We’ll meet you on the steps.
